I officially launched my photography business in July 2024, but photography has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. From growing up with a darkroom in the basement to always having a camera in my hand, storytelling through photos has always felt natural to me.
As a wife and a mother, I understand the importance of preserving moments that matter. Smartphones catch the everyday stuff, but more often than not, one parent is always behind the camera. That’s why I’ve built my business around capturing real, emotional, connection-driven images—and why I’m so excited to step into something new.
A few clients started asking if I offered wedding photography. One couple put their full faith in me to photograph their wedding this fall—and that’s when I realized this wasn’t just a maybe. It was something I wanted to pursue intentionally.
My husband and I got married in May 2021 (we just celebrated four years!), and like many couples during COVID, we scaled back our plans and had a microwedding in Pacific City. Even now, I love looking back at those photos. One day our son will ask about them—and I’ll have those memories ready.
That’s what I want to give to the couples I work with. Not just beautiful portraits, but images that bring you right back to the moment: how it felt to hold hands before the ceremony, what your partner whispered to make you laugh, the quiet, meaningful in-betweens.
I’m not calling myself a wedding expert overnight—I’m starting intentionally and with care.
This summer, I’ll be assisting Jamie from Voyage and Vine at three weddings so I can fully experience the pace and flow of wedding days and learn how to support my couples in every way possible.
I’m also attending a styled elopement shoot at Cannon Beach in July to grow my portfolio and sharpen my skills around posing, directing, and storytelling in a wedding setting. On top of that, I’m diving into education with Basecamp by Dawn Photo, and I just invested in a brand new camera (which I’m obsessed with and still learning).
This is how I’m growing—on purpose, not by accident.
If you’ve worked with me for family or maternity sessions—don’t worry, I’m not going anywhere. I’ll still be offering those sessions along with my seasonal minis.
This isn’t about shifting away from the work I love. It’s about adding to it. If I’ve captured your family, I’d be honored to photograph your wedding or anniversary someday too.
To mark the start of this new chapter, I’m offering $75 off all couples sessions now through the end of September. Whether you’re newly engaged, planning something small and intimate, or just want to celebrate your relationship—you’re welcome here.
I can’t wait to create something beautiful with you.
If you’re planning a wedding, elopement, or couples session this year, I’d love to connect.
Be the first to know about mini sessions, deals, and more.
Have a question or want to say hi? I’d love to hear from you.
