Coastal weddings come with their own logistics - tide schedules, wind, permits for certain beaches, and weather that changes fast. I've shot enough coast sessions to know how to work with all of it. Overcast days are honestly some of my favorites - the light is soft, even, and completely flattering.

Getting Married on the Oregon Coast
WHAT TO EXPECT
Cannon Beach and Hug Point are perennial favorites for good reason - the rock formations, the tide pools, the way the light hits at golden hour. Pacific City and the Cape Kiwanda area offer dramatic cliffs and wide open sand. Further south, places like Bandon Beach and Samuel H. Boardman have that wild, untouched feel that photographs beautifully.
